Kickers are people, too.
That's what I caught myself thinking initially as I edited Greg Gabriel's scouting combine preview for Bears fans, which includes five positions and 20 prospects to watch this week, none of them kickers.
Mind you, Greg and I already have discussed a lot the process of evaluating kickers in the wake of Cody Parkey doinkgate, so I know his feelings on the challenges associated with scouting the position. Greg will explain in depth at PFW as the draft process kicks into the next gear.
Meantime, PFW's plan is to get plenty of opinions this week in Indianapolis for Bears fans from current NFL decision makers on how they handle the position on their respective rosters.
