New York Giants PK Josh Brown admitted to being 'deviant' and viewing himself as 'God,' his wife 'slave'

Did the Giants' "thorough investigation" this offseason into placekicker Josh Brown, whom they re-signed after his domestic violence arrest leading to a one-game ban by the NFL for violating its personal conduct policy, ignore more than 165 pages of documents in which Brown himself admitted to serial abuse of his wife?

Kings County (Wash.) police records from Brown's May arrest released Wednesday and obtained by SNY detail disturbing admissions from Brown including that he's a sexual "deviant" who viewed himself as "God" and his wife as a "slave."

"I have been a liar for most of my life," wrote Brown in a 2014 letter to friends as part of his counseling sessions with his now ex-wife, Molly.
