Giants kicker Josh Brown, who was placed on the NFL Commissioner's Exempt List last week, has released a statement in the aftermath of documents containing his admissions of abusing his his now ex-wife being released last week.
Via ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brown released the following statement on Tuesday, claiming he never struck his wife.
"I am sorry that my past has called into question the character or integrity of The New York Giants, Mr. Mara or any of those who have supported me along the way. I have taken measures to get help so that I may be the voice of change, not a statistic.
