The New Orleans Saints, along with the rest of the NFL, unveiled their Color Rush uniforms on Tuesday morning.
New Orleans will wear all-white uniforms for its Thursday night appearance on the road against Carolina on Nov. 17, making the Saints one of six teams to opt for all-white uniforms rather than choosing one of their team colors.
The other five teams to wear white – Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals -- are all teams that have stuck with something close to their traditional uniform for decades.
According to Nike, all proceeds from the sale of Color Rush jerseys will go directly to the NFL Foundation to fund health, safety and wellness programs for youth around the country, and the first $500,000 from the initiative is earmarked to replace football equipment and fields for youth and high school teams affected by last month's devastating flooding in Louisiana.
