Everyone came into Thursday wondering whether Chip Kelly would land his Pac-12 superstar of choice, and he did just that.
It just wasn't who anyone expected.
The Eagles selected USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor with the No. 20 pick, filling a hole opened by the departure of Jeremy Maclin this offseason. USC athletic director Pat Haden commented on the pick:
@gmartlive @Eagles great pick!! Fantastic player, smart, leader. Will have a big career. #USC

Agholor, who doesn't fit Kelly's typical mold of large wideouts, made 104 receptions for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior.
