Keenan Reynolds' inspiring story can now live on in the NFL.
The former U.S. Naval Academy quarterback, who was taken by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, has been given permission to play in the league this year, Ray Mabus, secretary of the U.S. Navy, said on The Dan Patrick Show Friday morning (via Pro Football Talk).
Mabus also confirmed Patriots long snapper Joe Cardona can play again this season. Cardona was drafted in 2015 by the Patriots and appeared in all 16 games last year.
