Discarded by the Oakland Raiders earlier in the offseason, Nate Allen was picked up by the team once again on Thursday, agreeing to terms on a deal, per an official team announcement.
Around this time last year, Allen was signing for Oakland. The Raiders were set to pay him $23 million over four years. It looked like an overpay at the time, and the team decided to cut bait just one year into the contract, cutting Allen on Feb. 9, per ESPN.com.
Jordan Raanan of NJ Advance Media congratulated Allen and his agent for still managing to get a tidy sum from the Raiders:
BTW: Just getting caught up on stuff.
