Mychal Kendricks, facing possible prison sentence, starts in Seahawks debut

CHICAGO — Having pleaded guilty to insider trading 11 days ago, and facing up to 25 years in prison eventually, Mychal Kendricks made three tackles and a sack in the Seattle Seahawks’ 24-17 loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

Sounds strange, right? But the weirdest thing after the game: how normal the whole thing felt to his teammates, who didn't want to talk about Kendricks' legal troubles but were more willing to chat about how he played against the Bears.

Kendricks, who is awaiting federal sentencing in late January, signed with the Seahawks four days ago.
