The Green Bay Packers were on the precipice of defeat once again this past Thursday evening when they faced off against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Trailing by 20 points in the third quarter, the Packers seemed all but finished. Then, something happened that was inevitable – Aaron Rodgers rose from the dead.
The Packers were able to cut the lead to 23-21, but with no timeouts remaining, 23 seconds to go, and the ball on the GB 21-yard line, it looked quite daunting to complete the improbable comeback.
