NFL Week 17 - The New York Jets have announced that quarterback Mike White has been cleared to play by team doctors. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, White will return to his previous position as starter.
White missed the last two weeks after taking a shot to the ribs during the Jets' loss to the Buffalo Bills, starting Zach Wilson in his absence. Wilson and backup Chris Streveler combined for a -55.9% offensive passing DVOA during the Jets' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday night. Wilson posted a 22.0% offensive passing DVOA in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions, playing 100% of offensive snaps for the first time since Week 11.
