Michael Sam left the CFL last month for good after previously taking a short leave of absence from the Montreal Alouettes. While his playing career in Canada may be over, Sam has not given up on the NFL dream.
In an interview with ABC 17 News in Missouri on Wednesday, Sam said he is planning on making an NFL roster in 2016. But in the meantime, he has returned to Columbia to try to launch a career in media.
“It’s been a roller coaster,” Sam said. “I’ve been trying to figure out what’s next in my life.
