Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 5 road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to the team's Friday injury report.
Parsons suffered a high ankle sprain eight days ago during the Cowboys' Week 4 win over the New York Giants.
This will mark the first game Parsons has missed due to injury since entering the NFL in 2021.
His absence will be a major blow for the Cowboys' defense, which is already missing defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence. The unit could also lose cornerback Trevon Diggs, who is currently questionable for Sunday with an ankle injury.
