Ray McDonald’s prospects for returning to the NFL keep getting slimmer.
According to Tracey Kaplan of the San Jose Mercury News, McDonald’s ex-fiancée claims that the former 49ers and Bears defensive lineman exposed her to a pattern of “verbal abuse and controlling behavior” that led to “pushing and shoving” followed by “full attacks that happened frequently.”
The accusations were made in an application for a restraining order, which requires McDonald to remain at least 300 feet away from the woman and the couple’s infant child.
She claims that McDonald has a drinking problem, which made things worse.
