The Steelers did some roster housekeeping as players reported for training camp on Saturday by placing five players on the physically unable to perform list.
The biggest name of the five is starting center Maurkice Pouncey, who is dealing with a foot issue. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to be out of action for very long, though. Coach Mike Tomlin said, via the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, that Pouncey’s injury “very minor” when asked about a timeline.
Tackle Mike Adams, who is expected to be the team’s swing tackle behind Kelvin Beachum and Marcus Gilbert, will miss around four weeks as he continues to recover from a back procedure this offseason.
