With Matt Ryan entering the final year of his contract in 2018, the Atlanta Falcons hope to lock up their star quarterback this offseason.
Per Kelsey Conway of the Falcons official site, general manager Thomas Dimitroff said re-signing Ryan is the team's top priority.
The Falcons gave Ryan a five-year contract worth $103.8 million prior to the 2013 season. He has thrown for 22,839 yards, 133 touchdowns and completed 66.8 percent of his attempts since signing that extension.
The 32-year-old is scheduled to make $19.3 million in base salary next season, per Spotrac.
