Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez and linebacker Connor Barwin dropped by Temple University Hospital on Wednesday to visit with victims of Tuesday’s tragic derailment of Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 188, per a CSN Philly report.
The hospital is one of four area hospitals that treated victims of the crash, an accident that left eight people dead and over 200 injured according to current estimates.
Sanchez and Barwin reportedly handed out coffee and donuts to staff and victims during their unannounced visit, and later posed for photographs with hospital staff, many of which were posted to social media by the workers and later disseminated on Twitter and Instagram.
