The Philadelphia Eagles' surprising signing of Tim Tebow seemingly muddled the team's quarterback situation, but Mark Sanchez isn't concerned about his standing.
According to CSNPhilly.com, the expected backup to Sam Bradford revealed he was told Tebow was signed in order to have an extra arm in training camp while Bradford continues to work his way back from a torn ACL.
"He's obviously a great guy, he works hard. And we needed another guy to throw while Sam's still recovering," Sanchez said. "So that's the reason [for the signing], at least as explained to me.
