Malik Willis Will Be Packers' QB1 vs. Colts If Jordan Love Can't Play Due to Injury

Malik Willis is the next man up in Green Bay.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LeFleur told reporters on Monday that Willis would be the team's starting quarterback for Week 2 if Jordan Love is not cleared. Sean Clifford would move to the backup role.

LaFleur noted, via ESPN's Adam Schefter, that the Packers are not planning to put Love on injured reserve, signaling that the incumbent starter could be back within the next four weeks.

Love sustained a knee injury during the final drive of the Packers Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil.
