Free-agent wide receiver Lucky Whitehead's agent, Dave Rich, told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday that all charges against his client in a shoplifting case were dropped due to a case of mistaken identity.

Whitehead was released by the Dallas Cowboys on Monday after it was alleged that he failed to appear in court to face a larceny charge stemming from a June incident in Virginia, per ESPN.
