The New York Jets may opt for a flashy hire for the team's next general manager.
The franchise announced on X that it had completed an interview with former NFL safety and current ESPN analyst Louis Riddick for the team's vacant general manager position.
Riddick played six seasons in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and the then-Oakland Raiders. He joined ESPN in 2020 and works as a broadcaster for Monday Night Football.
During his NFL career, Riddick played in 94 games and made eight starts.
