The Lions have added some veteran receiving depth.
Detroit has agreed on a one-year contract with ex-Steelers wide receiver Lance Moore, the club’s website said Tuesday. Moore will compete with Corey Fuller, Jeremy Ross, Ryan Broyles and T.J. Jones for depth chart spots behind top targets Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate.
The 31-year-old Moore hauled in 14 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns in 14 games for Pittsburgh a season ago. The Steelers released him in March.
Moore’s best seasons came as a member of the Saints, for whom he had four years with more than 50 catches.
