After it initially appeared that there was tension from Lil Wayne over Kendrick Lamar being chosen over him to be the halftime performer of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Wayne set the record straight.
During an appearance on The Skip Bayless Show, Wayne, who is a New Orleans native, said he has no ill feelings toward Lamar and personally wished him well for his upcoming performance.
"I've spoken to him and I wished him all the best and told him he better kill it," Wayne said. "You better kill it.
