Pittsburg Steelers star running back Le'Veon Bell was carted off the field with a right knee injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game versus the Cincinnati Bengals and is doubtful to return, the team announced.
Bell immediately reached for his right knee after his leg buckled when it was trapped under his body on a sideline tackle. Unable to put weight on the leg, Bell went straight to the trainer's table. From there, he was carted to the locker room.
The injury is reminiscent of the Week 17 matchup between the two teams, as Bell suffered a hyperextended knee that thwarted Pittsburgh's postseason hopes.
