Le'Veon Bell, the Steelers' franchise RB who held out for all of camp and the preseason for the second consecutive year, didn't report to work Monday, as he did a year ago.
And the Steelers are understandably peeved.
"We are disappointed Le’Veon Bell has not signed his franchise tender and rejoined his teammates," GM Kevin Colbert said in a statement released by the team. "Coach Tomlin and the coaching staff will continue to focus on preparing the players on our roster for our regular season opener on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns."
Bell, 26, is set to earn $14.
