Denver coach Gary Kubiak will not coach the Broncos in Thursday's game against the San Diego Chargers after being diagnosed with a "complex migraine condition" during a postgame hospital stay Sunday, Broncos general manager John Elway said. He will take the week off and return to the team Monday, according to Elway.
Broncos special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis will be the interim coach, Elway said.
Kubiak was taken to the hospital with flu-like symptoms on Sunday after Denver's 23-16 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Per the team, Kubiak was diagnosed with the migraine condition that "caused extreme fatigue and body weakness.
