Baltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon suffered a torn MCL on Saturday night in his team's 30-9 preseason win against the Detroit Lions, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, Dixon won't require surgery on his knee. He had exited Saturday night's clash against the Lions with what the team announced was a knee sprain.
The 22-year-old was the Ravens' fourth-round pick (No. 134 overall) in the 2016 NFL draft. Coming into the 2016 campaign, he had a legitimate shot to earn major playing time, with Justin Forsett struggling with injuries in 2015 and javorius allen showing a limited upside.
