Kai Forbath signs RFA tender with Washington

The lone player tendered by Washington in restricted free agency has signed his contract with the club.

Via Instagram, placekicker Kai Forbath posted a picture of him putting pen to paper on his one-year contract.

“Contract signed!! Officially putting on the Burgundy & Gold for another year!” Forbath wrote.

The 27-year-old Forbath connected on 24-of-27 field goals for Washington last season. He averaged 61.3 yards on 54 kickoffs, forcing 18 touchbacks. Overall, Forbath has hit 88.1 percent of his career field goal attempts (59-of-67), including 22-of-25 from between 40 and 49 yards.
