After the report surfaced on Saturday that a video shows Saints linebacker Junior Galette throwing punches, swinging a belt and hitting a man and a woman, Galette’s lawyer offered a response. A response that might be helpful in a court of law, but won’t help Galette as he attempts to convince the NFL not to suspend him for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy.
Galette’s attorney, Ralph Whalen, told the New Orleans Advocate that he doesn’t believe the man in the video is Galette, and that there’s no proof it is.
“I’ve seen it a bunch of times,” Whalen said.
