Former NFL first-round pick Josh Freeman struggled in his debut for the Brooklyn Bolts of the Fall Experimental Football League on Friday.
Tim Casey of the New York Times reported that Freeman struggled with the rainy and windy conditions in his first appearance in the FEFL. His numbers against the Florida Blacktips were far from what you would expect given the Kansas State product's background at the top level of the sport:
Freeman didn't speak to reporters after the game, but Bolts coach Terry Shea told the New York Times things simply didn't work out for him, in large part due to the weather.
