Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson hasn’t done more than individual work during the Packers’ offseason program as he makes his way back from hip surgery performed earlier this offseason, something that hasn’t been much of a cause for concern as everyone in Green Bay is confident he’ll be fine for camp and the regular season.
That lack of concern extended to the softball field over the weekend. Nelson hosted a charity softball game in Wisconsin featuring several of his teammates and the wideout took part in the game without cautionary messages from the team that even he seemed to expect would come before the first pitch.
