Jordy Nelson's afternoon is over.
The Packers wideout left Sunday's wild-card bout with the Giants after taking a vicious hit from New York cornerback Leon Hall.
Nelson sat out an offensive series before the Packers carted him off to the locker room. The Pro Bowl receiver was ruled out with a rib injury following halftime.
Nelson nabbed just one catch for 13 yards before departing. His absence leaves quarterback Aaron Rodgers to target fellow wideouts Randall Cobb, Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison along with tight end Jared Cook.
