Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed underwent an offseason toe procedure, and the team is hoping to have him healthy in time for the start of training camp.
Speaking to reporters at the NFL's owners meetings in Orlando, Florida, last month, head coach Jay Gruden confirmed Reed had a procedure to address the toe injury that limited him to six games a year ago, according to ESPN.com's John Keim.
Reed, 27, debuted in 2013 and has never suited up for a full 16 games due to a variety of maladies, including several concussions.
