The Green Bay Packers will leave Brazil with nothing to show for after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 34-29 in their season opener on Friday.
For much of the game, the Packers looked like the team that snuck into the playoffs and beat the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round. They capitalized off a pair of early turnovers to make it a 6-0 game in the first quarter, but their stout defense quickly faded as Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and the Eagles offense had their way with Green Bay's defense.
It was a less-than-desirable game for Jordan Love after the Packers made him tied for the highest-paid quarterback over the offseason.
