Johnny Manziel appeared on The Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday and said he wasn't prepared to run a pro offense when the Cleveland Browns drafted him in 2014.
"If Cleveland did any of their homework, they would have known I wasn't a guy who came in every day and [watched] film," he said, according to Andrew Perloff. "I wasn't a guy who really knew the X's and O's of football."
Manziel added that he didn't have the proper resources at his disposal to make strides in that area:
Andrew PerloffJohnny Manziel tells @dpshow that he didn't understand pro offense coming out of Texas A&M's spread and there was no one in the Browns quarterback room to help him.
