Minnesota Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy just wants a "fair opportunity" to win the team's starting signal-caller job next year amid much uncertainty regarding the team's future at the position.
McCarthy spoke about the matter on The Rich Eisen Show Tuesday (h/t Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk).
"All I could ask for is a fair opportunity," McCarthy said.
"That's the one thing I feel like everybody's given and it's fundamental. When money gets involved, things get complicated and reps get skewed and there's different things that come into the whole political world that everyone talks about.
