Jim Caldwell rips Detroit media for negativity

The Lions are coming off their worst loss of the season — a 45-10 shellacking in London at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs that dropped Detroit’s record to an NFL-worst 1-7. Yet, for some reason, Jim Caldwell still expects the media to play nice.

On Tuesday, Caldwell spent some time complaining to reporters about how negative the media in Detroit has been.

That’s the type of thing a coach of a 4-4 team could say if all of the local beat writers were penning “sky is falling” pieces.
