Coming off the best season of his career, defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw has cashed in with a deal from the New York Jets.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Kinlaw has agreed to a one-year contract with the Jets.
Kinlaw was a first-round draft pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. He showed a lot of promise as a rookie with four quarterback hits and 1.5 sacks in 14 games playing on the interior of the defensive line.
Injuries derailed the next two years of Kinlaw's career. He had knee problems in 2021 that limited him to four games before he had ACL reconstruction surgery.
