The Jets have done plenty of work to upgrade their secondary already this offseason, but they could use a pass rusher off the edge to make Todd Bowles’ defense a stronger unit.
That pass rusher may come with the sixth pick in the draft. Earlier this week we heard that the team would be meeting with Florida’s Dante Fowler and Wednesday brings word that several of the draft’s other top edge players will also meet with the team. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that they’ll also host Missouri’s Shane Ray and Kentucky’s Bud Dupree and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media adds Clemson’s all-time sack leader Vic Beasley to the list.
