Jets Insider Talks Aaron Rodgers' Lack of Influence: 'Doesn't Have a Pot to Piss in'

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers once had a great deal of power within the New York Jets organization, but it has reportedly gone up in smoke amid a disappointing 4-12 record.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, Rodgers "lobbied" for head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas to return in 2024, and once they were fired—coupled with offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett losing his play-calling duties—Rodgers' "influence within the organization had faded."

As one source close to the organization put it regarding Rodgers: "He doesn't have a pot to piss in."
