Jets Hire Nathaniel Hackett as OC

NFL Conference Championship - The New York Jets will hire former Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hackett was fired as Broncos head coach midseason, leading Denver to the 29th-ranked offense in football. He previously served as the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator for Green Bay, finishing top-ten in offensive DVOA three straight years while leading the league in offensive DVOA in 2020.

The new Jets offensive coordinator will succeed Mike LaFleur, who joined head coach Robert Saleh upon leaving San Francisco. The Jets finished 26th in offensive DVOA, starting three different quarterbacks over the course of the season.
