Why fire anyone 12 games into a season where the only obvious path from here is to secure the #1 overall pick and draft Trevor Lawrence? They are much better off for blowing the game yesterday instead of holding on to the win.
The worst thing they could do is dead-cat-bounce their way into a couple of wins and end up picking second. I know it's not as simple as quitting because the players are putting themselves on tape for next season, but keeping a bad DC to play out the string is a no-brainer.
