New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers called Malachi Corley "my favorite receiver in the draft" during a May 22 interview with the Official Jets Podcast (h/t ESPN's Rich Cimini).
"Now, he might not have been the best on paper in the draft, but I really felt like he was going to fit in with what we're trying to do -- his mindset, his ferocity," Rodgers said (15-minute mark).
The Jets traded up from No. 72 overall to No. 65 to select the former Western Kentucky star, who had 253 receptions, 2,970 yards and 29 touchdowns during his final three seasons with the Hilltoppers.
