Cotchery Ruled Out For the Game
Friday, August 28
The Charlotte Observer's Jonathan Jones reported Cotchery suffered a groin pull, although the severity of the injury has yet to be announced.
Prior to leaving Friday's game, Cotchery had compiled four catches for 38 yards, including an 18-yard reception.
While it remains to be seen how much time—if any—Cotchery will miss, the Panthers can't afford any more injuries at wide receiver.
