The Big Ten is sending several well-regarded running backs into the NFL draft this season with Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon carrying the most fanfare with him to the professional level.
Indiana’s Tevin Coleman, Nebraska’s Ameer Abdullah, Minnesota’s David Cobb and Michigan State’s Jeremy Langford aren’t far behind him, though, and there are undoubtedly going to be teams that prefer one of that trio to Gordon. The Broncos may fall into that group if they liked what they heard when they visited with Langford.
Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that Langford was in Denver recently to meet with the defending AFC West champs.
