The Seattle Seahawks signed two former Canadian Football League players Thursday, wide receiver Jeff Fuller and running back Cameron Marshall, per Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk.
Seattle has had the NFL's best defense over the past four seasons, but the offense is a work in progress. Finding a running back became a necessity when former Pro Bowler Marshawn Lynch announced his retirement at 29 years old this week, per Crabtree, leaving Thomas Rawls as the only running back on the active roster for next season.
Fuller hauled in 47 passes for 619 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games for the Calgary Stampeders last season and is the second CFL pass-catcher to sign with the Seahawks in three years.
