Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels has taken the league by storm in his debut season with the Washington Commanders.
The 23-year-old Heisman winner out of LSU was always projected to be good, but few thought that it was possible to turn the Washington Commanders around in his first year after the franchise went 4-13 in 2023.
According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, one Commanders coach was effusive in his praise for Daniels, saying he does "remarkable" work in processing information during game preparations.
After a four-win season last year, the Commanders decided to completely rebuild their roster around their new franchise quarterback, leading to a 2-1 start to the 2024 season.
