Bears quarterback Jay Cutler doesn’t have any college eligibility left.
But if he did, he might be a Michigan man.
Cutler was asked to appear at a one-day camp for high school quarterbacks by Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh, and he came away impressed with the former 49ers coach’s energy.
“I like him,” Cutler said, via Dan Murphy of ESPN.com. “First time I’ve been around him. [He has] a lot of energy. He’s out there. He’s got his cleats on out there. He’s a guy that I would like to play for.”
Cutler was joined by former NFL quarterbacks Todd Collins and Elvis Grbac, among others, to help with the camp.
