After all that Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears have been through, a fresh start would be best for both sides.
On January 23, 2011, Chicago’s Jay Cutler exited the NFC Championship game with an MCL sprain. In the biggest game of his career, his body betrayed him and he couldn’t finish out what he had worked so hard to achieve. While some players and reporters questioned his toughness, there was no doubt that he would return the following season to lead the Bears back to the postseason.
Fast forward five years later. On September 19, 2016, Cutler exited the Bears’ Week 2 game with an injured thumb.
