Jason Pierre-Paul Participates in Fireworks Safety PSA Ahead of July 4 Holiday

Nearly one year removed from a July 4 fireworks accident that resulted in a severe hand injury, New York Giants pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul is speaking out against the dangers of pyrotechnics.

As seen in the following public service announcement, JPP is teaming with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in order to prevent similar mishaps from occurring this Independence Day:

Pierre-Paul's accident led to the amputation of his right index finger, and it caused him to miss eight games during the 2015 season.

Although he was able to return, he registered just 26 tackles and one sack.
