Jason Pierre-Paul has not yet signed his franchise tender and returned to the New York Giants, which apparently means he is not ready to resume his obligations to charitable organizations, either.
Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News reports that Pierre-Paul was scheduled to appear at the Harboring Hearts Benefit in Manhattan on Tuesday night but never showed up. It would have been his first appearance in New York since he met with the Giants over Labor Day Weekend.
Pierre-Paul wasn’t the only one, as fellow Giants players Landon Collins and Damontre Moore were also scheduled to attend and didn’t make it.
